Luke 19: 9 – 10: And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
The Perfect Earth:
Genesis 1: 26 – 28 “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.””
The Fall of Man
Genesis 3: 2 – 3; & 6 “And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.””

The Promise of Redemption:
Genesis 3: 13 – 15 “Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
What is Salvation?
Ephesians 2: 4 – 5 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.”
The dictionary define salvation as the deliverance from the power and effects of sin and thepreservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss.
Bible scholars puts it as “salvation of the soul is a spiritual and miraculous transformation that takes place in the life the believer.” Salvation is God’s rich gift of grace and mercy that brings hope and restore mankind to what God had originally intended.
How is God working?
Ephesians 2: 8says“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,” This is God’s unmerited favor to us, we receive it when we believe in Him.
Ephesians 2: 9 says “not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” We cannot work for God’s grace, be cannot pay for it. God just want us to believe in Him, believe in His word and His son Jesus the Christ.
Ephesians 2: 10 says “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” God continues to work for as long as we give him the permission to do so.
God’s plan of restoration
Hebrews 8:12 – 13 says “For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more. In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.”
God describes the old covenant made with His beloved people as obsolete. God’s plan is to restore His people to His original intention and purpose. The restoration isman’s right standing with God by forgiving wickedness and remembering sins no more.
Philippians 2: 12 – 13 says “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”

The Original Purpose
Humans were created with the intent of abundant living. Fruitfulness and growth, multiplication and expansion. This family structure and organization, are all part of God’s plan of grace. These also include stewardship of society and care for the natural world.
